Privacy & child safety

This page is written for parents, guardians, and children's leaders.

No accounts, no child sign-ups

Children can read every story without logging in. DiscipleKids never asks children to submit personal information — no name, email address, age, or any other personal detail — and there is no profile, comment box, or chat anywhere in the storybook.

Limited technical processing

We do not ask you or your child for personal information, but a few things happen automatically when any website is used, and we want to be plain about them:

• Aggregated traffic statistics. Standard, aggregated measurements such as page views may be recorded so we know which stories are read most. We do not use them to build a profile of a visitor.
• Technical request data. As with any site, our hosting provider processes ordinary request information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
• “Read to me” narration. The text of the page being read is sent to our voice service only to produce that audio. It is not stored by us and is never linked to a person.
• Giving. If an adult chooses to give, payment details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and are never stored by DiscipleKids.

Email and giving

Email contact and donations are deliberately kept off the children's pages and handled by adults through DiscipleLifestyle.com. Any such link inside the storybook appears only in the parent section or footer and is labelled for grown-ups.
